Comparing to other multimedia notebooks, notably the Acer Aspire 6930G, the Samsung R610 laptop is one of the lightest, thinnest and perhaps the most eye-catching 16-inch laptops in town so far but in terms of performance, it proves somewhat patchy.

The Samsung R610’s look is fashionable enough for the boardroom and quite classy for the dorm room as well. Weighting 61bs, the Samsung R610 measures 1.3-inches only at its thickness point and 0.8-inches at its thinnest, pitching it to the top of most other mainstream 16-inches notebooks.
